Misled

Wenk, Timothy

(Based on 2 reviews)
As performed by David Copperfield on international television. A $100 bill and a pencil are borrowed from the audience. The borrowed bill is marked for later identification if desired. You proceed to use the pencil to pierce a hole in the center of the bill. The pencil is shown to be through the bill beyond a shadow of a doubt. The bill is then torn by the pencil. The audience clearly sees and hears this happen, yet the bill is immediately and magically restored. You go further than that by causing the pencil to mysteriously melt through the bill again, only this time, in slow motion. Both the pencil and bill are handed out for immediate examination.
