You will be thrilled as the No. 2 symbol on an ordinary yellow pencil disappears, reappears, slides from one end to the other and finally s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-s to fill the length of the pencil.

If you are at all familiar with the "paddle move" used in various paddle tricks or the color changing knives, then you are familiar with the workings of this trick. However, Number 2 Pencil shows a lot of imagination in the basic paddle type trick. The hexagon shape of the pencil makes the working of this trick especially easy and convincing. This is a great close-up trick that has left my spectators in amazement as the "#2" symbol on the pencil really looks as if it is sliding all over the pencil. The climax is terrific. Like the description says, the No. 2 symbol stretches to the full length of the pencil. I highly recommend this to beginners as it will be one of the first "moves" you can easily learn that will help you do many different effects. After you have mastered this one, check out "Color Changing Knives" for a very different type of effect using the same principal. For intermediate to veterans, this is the type of trick your imagination and patter skills can take to new dimensions. If you do any close-up and don't have this one in your bag, get it.
