This was the first book on the subject of mentalism that I was fortunate enough to find. I learned more from Corinda about magic in general and mentalism in particular than from any other five books combined (aside from Ted Anneman's PMM). I am greatful to Corinda for taking me light years closer to my performance dreams than any other author. Thank you Tony for your inspiration and cheeky sense of humor.

There are two "Must Have" books for the aspiring mentalist - _Practical Mental Effects_ (reprinted as _Practical Mental Magic_ by Dover Publications) by Annemann, and this gem. Some of the material is dated, and much will need to be reworked for modern audiences. Aside from that, this is incredible stuff. A career could be made from the material in this book. Originally released as 13 separate lessons, now bound in this one wonderful book.
