Cash Flow

Pablo, Juan

Bazar De Magia

(Based on 2 reviews)
Juan Pablo did it again! This time he has created "Cash Flow", the quickest and best visual bill change never seen before, and just using one hand. A DVD containing a great variety of explained tricks is included with this gimmick.

One of the tricks explained is a one dollar bill held by just two fingers. This bill immediately turns into a one-hundred dollar bill and is shown on both sides. You can note that both hands are clearly empty at all times. This trick works with any currency.

Another trick is a check held at the tip of the fingers which turns into several dollars that can be examined.
  • Easy to do anytime
  • Extremely visual
  • Easy and quick set-up
  • Immediately repeatable
  • No Palming
  • This magic trick can be done with your own bills (works with any currency), checks, lottery cards, receipts and so on
  • What you get is a ready-to-use gimmick, materials to create an extra gimmick and a fully explanations
  • The ideal gimmick to have always handy in your pocket.
  • English - Spanish version DVD
  • Gimmick included + everything you need to build an additional gimmick

I have to disagree with a number of points of the official review. First the quality of the premade check to bills that was sent with the DVD was poor and had to be modified to be usable. Second this trick has angle problems and the performer must be very thoughtful about how he holds the items and moves with them. Third, so that nothing shows before it is produced you may find it useful to very slightly trim your bills. I do agree that this allows for myriad variations and with imagination may well fit into a performer's routine. The one to many aspect is alos rare in bill switches and adds to the possibilities.
Not the most impressive bill change but still interesting and with some features that make it different from the others out there.

“Cash Flow” by Juan Pablo is a novel new addition to the bill change genre. Visually, it’s a high tech version of his full face bill change (a bill instantly, without folding, changes from a one to a hundred), but what makes this different is that it can be done one handed, and a single bill can change to multiple bills.

The effect looks fantastic and appears quite magical. The trade off is that you don’t start or end clean, though frankly, no bill change I’ve read allows for a completely clean ending. And, as with the many versions of Pat Page’s Easy Money, if you use the change to produce several bills, all but one can be examined.

The effects possible with “Cash Flow” are quite varied and, as the saying goes, only limited by your imagination. Four basic effects are explained on the DVD: a check to bill, a two peso bill to two bill transposition (my favorite), a $1 to $100 bill change, and a multiple bill production. Included with the DVD is a gimmick ready for performance (the check to bill), plus a special something that allows you to make your own gimmick if you want to perform one of the other effects (or one of your own design.)

The instructions are very thorough, with some professional touches. I appreciated the fact that when Juan Pablo explains the construction of the gimmick, much of the construction is done beforehand, meaning the viewer doesn’t have to watch the creator do something time consuming that could have been done off camera. This was thoughtful and something other DVD producers could learn from. The included gimmick is also very well made and is constructed from real currency, a classy and expensive production choice. In addition to the basic instruction, tips and suggestions to improve performance are offered as well. The instruction is overdubbed in English, but the translation is clear and effective.

This is a strong entry in the bill change genre. While you’re dealing with a gimmick, you can display it cleanly at the end, showing both sides, which goes a long ways towards taking the heat off the bill. It’s a flexible method and there are a variety of ways to present the effect, which gives a lot of opportunity to the creative performer. And, of course, the actual effect itself is quite magical in appearance. If you’re looking for a magical, instantaneous, flexible, one handed bill change, you can’t go wrong with “Cash Flow.”
