Place a deck of cards on the table, where it remains in full view. Explain that before you left home you removed one card from another deck and placed it face up in the deck on the table. A spectator is asked to name any card that comes to mind -- any card at all. You carefully remove the cards from the box and run through them until you locate the one face-up card. You guessed it. The card named by the spectator is the only face up card in the deck. And, its back is a different color than the rest of the deck. No stooges -- No forcing -- No fumbling -- just magic.
