On October 31st, 2000, the 74th anniversary of Harry Houdini's death, the annual Houdini Séance was held in Milwaukee,WI.

Unique to this event was the presence of a full camera crew ready to capture the séance on high-resolution videotape including infrared, which allows taping in complete darkness.

What they filmed proved to be an interesting and valuable insight into the working of an actual séance and produced some surprising revelations to the many participants, some of whom had actually met the famous magician and escapologist.

Also included are exclusive interviews with Houdini experts/historians Sidney Radner and Dr. Morris Young and demonstrations of rare handcuffs, locks and lockpicks by Mr. Radner.

The video was captured by an experienced audio-video team and edited by an award winning editor/director.

The video runs 50 minutes with about half of that time devoted to the discussion and operation of the seance. The latter part of the tape focuses in on Sid Radner and Morris Young and their discussions of Houdini, locks, lock picks and handcuffs.

This video provides Houdini enthusiasts, séance buffs, magicians and laypersons with a terrific journey into the unknown guided by the world's most famous magician.
