Overview

No Print by Mickael Chatelain is a No Way by this reviewer. No Print is a moving digit effect on a bill. This is one incredibly overpriced DIY effect which has so much not going for it, I don’t know where to begin. The bill can’t be handed out for inspection, you have to craft everything yourself, half of the gimmicks provided is for another currency and finally you have to gimmick your $20 which in effect requires you to tie up $50 for this very minor effect.

Effect

In a nutshell, you produce a $20 bill and you remove the “0” (zero) from the 20 in the corner of the bill and it disappears leaving a 2_. Another possibility is moving the “0” onto another bill in your hand. Either way the effect is so brief that it isn’t worth the effort to show it.

Method

The method is through the use of a gimmicked bill. There are no real handling requirements. The handling so minor that it really can’t be called a sleight. There is no audience management involved since the bill cannot be handled by anyone other than the performer.

Product Quality

The product quality is atrocious for the asking price. What you receive are gimmicks for two currencies, the dollar and the Euro. Without getting into details very little else is provided that would warrant a $30 asking price. The DIY instructions are 1 hour long but half is devoted to each currency. This is a completely DIY project.

Ad Copy Integrity

Naturally creators cleverly write the ad copy to make their product seem amazing, and Chatelain is no different. All I can say is that there are many other “money” tricks out there that will have more bang for the buck.
