Where Did We Go Right? That seems to be the question going around as the DENNY AND LEE MAGIC STUDIO enters into its fourth year of operation. Those who have been here or who have been ordering from us during the past three years will understand why this shop has been such a success. Newcomers to our shop and mail order services just might like to find out what all the talk is about and we welcome you to a "real" magic shop, the way it should be! When I was growing up in magic, magic shops were secretive little coves where the magicians would hang out and discuss the classics of magic as well as the magic of today. The owners of those shops were always professional performing magicians who knew what this magic field was all about and could always offer assistance in either putting together a show or mastering the latest close-up trick. The shops were decorated with ancient posters, old books, and pieces of fine magical apparatus from the finest magical craftsmen of the day. There were nogag gifts, No Gags!plastic vomit, or rubber dog crap, only magic! When I began this venture three years ago, I decided that this is the way I want this shop to be. I was told by many that it wouldn't work. They said that I needed the walk in trade, the novelty items, and those "quick, over the counter" sales to make ends meet. My instincts as a professional magician have been correct. We have done the right thing! What Do We Offer That Makes Denny & Lee Special?
