Ball & Tube--John Kennedy Review

The ball and tube is a classic trick and like the old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it' I feel applies to this. People are gobbed smacked by the ball sinking down into the tube, but i have yet to get a reaction to the ball and tube fusing together. Either they are not baffled by it, can't work out what has happned and just wondered why! Although beautifully made, I don't think it is worth the extra money.

Display a metal tube and a solid steel ball. Suddenly, strange thing's begin to happen. Put the ball away in your pocket. It reappears like magic back on top of the tube. With everyone watching closely, the ball shrinks a little and slowly sinks into the tube, then rises back out. All of this happens literally inches from their eyes. But, now for the climax. "Watch this," you say - Suddenly both objects solidify into a solid mass. It looks like a ball resting on a tube, but it's really a single, solid piece of metal.
