For just under $5/USD you get a video that teaches you a neat variation on the old 'Color Monte' using one common gaff card, three normal cards and a few relatively easy sleights in just over 9 minutes.

There is not a whole lot to say about this one except that it is pretty good and that it fits into what is called the magical monte category rather than the gambling monte category.
If you have been into magic for a while you will probably be familiar with most of the sleights used here. He teaches most of them pretty well within the time constraint and there is only one the he just mentions and even though that is a rather commonly-known sleight, it would have been nice to see it explained here with the others, however briefly.

One word of caution with this: As with any other monte-type effect, you need to take your time going through each phase because it would be easy to confuse people who are watching and if they are not paying attention, the effect may well be lost on them.

The video and audio quality are excellent and I think the effect would make a nice little interlude in a larger set. There is one subtlety that does not have to be used but if you do, you need to watch your angles.
For the price, you cannot beat it and if you like the trailer or any of the color monte effects that are on the market, you will like this too.

3.5 stars.

Manufacturer's Description:

ReCard Monte is an in the hands, multi-phase Monte routine with a kicker ending.

The magician starts with two red backed jokers and a blue backed queen. The queen moves from the center to the bottom, back to the center without any funny moves. The queen is then placed face up in the spectators hand and they are asked where the blue back card is. They say, in their hand. When they turn over the queen, it now has a red back and the jokers have blue backs.
