Color Changing Knives

Haydn, Whit

Whit Haydn

(Based on 1 review)
This beautiful set of knives (perfect for the Whit Haydn routine, The Intricate Web of Distraction) contains three knives including one that is black with a ‘stag horn’ type finish, and one that is a ‘white pearl’ smooth finish, and, of course, the gimmicked knife. Manufactured by Joe Mogar, these knives feature the "rough and smooth" textures so essential to Whit's routine.

These knives are great. Having the stag finish on one side makes it a breeze to find in your pocket. This may or may not be important to you, but I have been performing the intricate web routine and it is convenient. The knives are very nicely made by Joe Mogar. They are well balanced, and for me they are just the right size.

I have heard complaints about the underside flashing, but I have not had this problem, I just tilt the knives down a little as I do the move and this seems to help. Another complaint that I have heard is doing this for people who are seated while you are standing, and I agree this is a problem, and to that I say learn a rope trick, don't do the knives in this situation.

On the down side, I do think they are expensive for a color changing knife set, but it depends on what you are looking for. Personally, I think they are worth it.
