You know that feeling you get when you've bought a magic effect and open the packet.....and all you get is a slight rehashing of a very well known method that doesn't really meet the claims on the advert? Well that's what I got with this effect, in spades.

I won't reveal the principle but suffice it to say that you know it but probably discarded it for an ACAAN effect because it's not very practical. There is a move required that is pretty challenging to get away with without strong misdirection or magician-like handling of the cards, which isn't suited to a mentalist effect

The fan is closed and the cards are handed to a third spectator who deals down and reveals the named card at the named number!!!. This is Marc Paul's version of this reputation making effect.
