The Corner DVD Set (2 DVD Set, Limited) Review

I was very excited about this dvd set and knew that even if some of the 32 tricks are weak, I know that with 32 tricks I’ll find a few things worth keeping. With the dvd set being all impromptu tricks I knew I wanted it.
Unfortunately, this set was a disappointment.
Many of the tricks are just sleights. That’s fine.
Many of the tricks are weak. They can’t all be winners.
Many of the tricks are NOT impromptu and require certain gimmicks or thingys. This is totally upsetting for an impromptu dvd set. One of the tricks requires a prepared toy egg. I can not understand how this could ever be considered ‘impromptu’. You will never borrow one of these. The only way you could ever perform it is if you carry it with you, and you have to make a special piece for it at home.
Another issue I have with this dvd set is that it is a dvd ‘set’. Both dvds are very short. Combined they do not even add up to an hour. Actually less when you take out the demos for their other products.
To make things more upsetting, the demo for the dvd set shows a number of tricks that aren’t even on the dvd. If you see something you like on the demo, you better look over the list of tricks in the description of the dvds to see if that trick is even on the dvd.
You get an expensive bunch of mediocre tricks that border on ideas that they just threw on the dvds. Wouldn’t pay more than $10 for it.
