That Old Yarn

(Based on 1 review)
Created by Ray Kosby and marketed exclusively by Daryl.

Here’s a perfect addition to any Ambitious Card routine.

A freely selected card is signed then a piece of yarn is securely attached. The selection is slowly cut into the middle of the deck and the spectator holds the end of the yarn. With a simple tug on the yarn, the selected card visibly jumps to the top. There are no gimmicks and everything can be examined.

Comes supplied with yarn and an interesting idea on how to make the selected card an unusual promotional giveaway. Make sure your potential clients walk away with your name and phone number attached to the magic.

I forget how I first heard about this trick-or, which site it popped up on. The very idea of using a piece of yarn with ambitious card, appealed to me enough that I eventually purchased the trick. It's very clever, easy to learn-and the little piece of yarn adds a physical dimension to the card rise-that usually exists within the spectator's mind. It also involves the spectator more, as they get to tug on the yarn. I'm glad this trick only costs what it does-and could see this popping up in a book somewhere. I can also easily see this working well as a trick for children-with the opportunity to craft a story about the yarn having magic in it, or it coming from an exotic place. It's a cute little spin on a trick that all magicians do...and it's something that I'm sure people will remember because they become physically connected to the trick.
