David Acer was an official reviewer for MyLovelyAssistant for many years. Shortly before he decided to retire from the reviewing business, he sent me a copy of this book.

First, you should know that this is a mass-market children's book. You're probably not going to find a copy at your magic dealer. But you can find it on Amazon, where it has a 5-star rating.

The premise is something near and dear to me: mysteries. I'm talking BIG mysteries like Big Foot, UFOs and zombies. And the best part... this book teaches you how to recreate these ancient mysteries for the sole purpose of freaking out your friends.

The book took less than ten minutes to read, cover-to-cover. It was entertaining, informative and fun. The tricks are obviously simple.

Maybe the magic dealers should carry this. It might teach magicians how to create a great story around a simple trick.
