I have had the Mak Magic chair suspension for about one year. I have practiced it with my wife (assistant). While it is true that it can be done by one person, using someone from the audience, my experience from practicing it is that it takes a good sense of stage management to do that. I plan to use the chair suspension soon in a show. My wife and I will both work the apparatus, suspending someone from the audience. This seems to be more practical in terms of stage management. This is one of the few levitations/suspensions that can be done at fairly close quarters - even in someone's living room. I gave it a 3.5 because it does take a good understanding of stage management to make this look as graceful as it should be.
