Jay Scott Berry is one of the undisputed masters of the Ring and Ribbon routine and this 20-minute DVD contains his signature piece handling. A satin ribbon is tied in a knot which transforms into a golden ring. Both are examined and the ring is threaded onto the ribbon. It is clearly shown hanging on the ribbon and then, incredibly, penetrates off. This amazing routine continues as the ring dissolves off and back onto the ribbon. It then vanishes from one hand, only to reappear in the other, threaded onto the ribbon. As a stunning finale, the ring is spun on the table and, in the blink of an eye, jumps onto the ribbon!

Jay Scott Berry's Symphony on the Ring and Ribbon is a first class, complete routine. It is complete in the sense of a magical opening, middle, and surprise ending. Well worth the investment in both time and money. The routine is just what it says: the ring magically appears on and off the ribbon. Jay combines new moves - specifically his Master False Thread - with some standards into a nice flow. All of the moves are within the reach of most. The routine comes with an instructional DVD that has been produced for an international audience. Everything is explained without spoken dialogue - just clear video and occasional screen text. You also receive the needed ring and ribbon. The ribbon can be replaced at a local craft store when the time comes. The routine can be combined with Jay's other products into a really magical set.
