The small cabinet is revolved to show all sides. The front door is opened to reveal its emptyness. To further prove that there are no hiding places, an illuminated light bulb is passed into the cabinet. The interior of the cabinet is filled with light and suddenly the shadow of a mysterious form slowly takes shape. The shadows manifest themselves on all four sides, giving the effect of someone trying to push themselves through the sides. But, when the cabinet is opened and shown to the audience, it is seen that it is completely empty. Finally, the shadows reappear mysteriously and at the end, the girl assistant magically appears when the front panel is opened.
