Overview

Poster Card is a flash production reveal of a supersized version of a card “chosen” by the spectator. Poster Card is another trick that falls victim to the impracticality of the gimmick which only sabotages the entire effect. Not unlike Bigger Finish by Jay Sankey, Poster Card has to outdo Bigger Finish by making the reveal supersized.

Effect

The performer has a spectator pick a card and that card is then revealed by displaying a massive version of that very card.

Method

The method involves a specially printed bank of cards taped together when unfolded has the card revelation when turned around. 25 cards are used to build this revelation.

Product Quality

The cards that I received were poorly aligned making the stack a misaligned mess. The stack takes up virtually half the deck which gives you a limited opportunity to force the necessary card. The instructional video is done without talking and there is some annoying, jazzy, bouncy music dubbed over to “enhance” the video. The reveal is awkward at best with cards getting hung up and obviously taped together which in itself looks peculiar. Ultimately, you turn around this “poster sized” matrix of cards for a very unimpressive reveal of the obviously forced card.
