Overview

Reviewing a classic of magic like this is a funny thing -- like reviewing 'War and Peace'. However: our readers deserve a solid review of even the classics. That said, this is an enjoyable book on number-focused magic. I have always (for good reason) found it odd that the words "self-working" appeared on the cover. Maybe the intention was to counter anyone's fear of numbers -- understandable, honestly.
I think it should be clear: much of what is here is not really super heavy in the math department. Conversely, everything here does NOT have high entertainment value. The average, amateur performer will probably find something they should work into their next show, for sure. I personally enjoyed some of the plain old bar bets here -- some are quite clever.
Personally-speaking, this book belongs on your shelf.

Effect

There are a wide array of effects in this book. They all focus on numbers/math.

Method

A little difficult to answer for a book of this length: generally, the majority of these effects aren't too horribly difficult. Some could be considered a bit more complex than needed.

Product Quality

A very good paper back version. Dover has released a zillion of these. For the time, the illustrations are pretty good.

Ad Copy Integrity

From what I've seen, pretty spot on. I am basing that based on what is printed on the back cover of the book.
