More fun than a barrel of Pit Bosses!
(If that's what you're into)

Effect

The Magician shows cut card. A cut card (you explain) is used to determine where to cut a deck of cards in blackjack. Three selections are made. One by One, the casino cut card turns into each of the spectator's selections.

Looking cooler!

Lastly, the casino card is swiped along the remainder of the deck where...(Can you feel the tension?)...The Card turns into a strange mish-mash of multiple cards - creating a sure-fire way to get kicked out of a casino!

A great, easy-to-do effect that instantly resets, and uses only one slight. Running Time Approximately 31min

For 25 dollars you get specially printed cards, 20 ish minutes of instruction, and an okay trick. The DVD video and audio quality were great. The menu was pretty much unreadable, however.

I'm not sure what it is these days with people putting out DVDs with crappy menus. It's not that hard folks . . . make the DVD menus easy to read and navigate . . . please!

So how 'bout the effect? It's 2 minute routine where a blank card turns into one selection, then another, then another, then finally it turns into a card with a bunch of printed pips on it. The method is pretty simple and a fooler. However, the routine is a bit cluttered and slightly illogical. There are quite a few moments of confusion in the routine. The premise for what causes the card to change is actually pretty good, but Peterson doesn't fully exploit it or present it properly. Rather, he quickly tosses out the premise, then moves onto the effect which is way too put-and-take-ish for my taste. All in all, the routine is okay, so the final verdict is 2 stars . . . grubble.
