Top Secret Magic can be found in Jack Cohens Magic & Joke Shop in Plymouth, England. It was originally owned by Jack Cohen (There's a surprise!) It was founded in the early 1960's by Jack who retired in 1995 at the age of 86! The shop was taken over with Jacks blessing by the present owner Malcolm Norton. Malcolm, born in 1962 (I'll let you do the arithmetic) has been a professional magician since the age of 21 (Once again I'll let you work that one out but it's over 15 years). These years of experience as a working performer enable him to provide Top Class service and advice.

We specialise in Close Up Magic but also have various items of Mentalism / Escapology / Stage / Cabaret and Children's Magic in stock too. If there is something specific you are looking for and cannot find it in our catalogue then do not hesitate to call us, as we have many items not listed and if we don't have it in stock we may be able to help you find it !

If you wish to check the suitability of any item for your act please feel free to call and discuss it." It is up to you to decide whether that is your cup of tea." It is not mine. It is sometimes difficult to assess whether a trick is within your capabilities or not. If you order only 25 $ items that might not be a big problem, but with expensive items it is a different story. I have been visiting the shop since I was 10 and I can offer nothing but praise. Mal, who owns the shop, is the most helpful magic dealer I have come across. I now live some distance, but still call the shop to ask advice. I get a straight answer and have probably saved a lot of money as a result. This is the kind of shop that offers a human, honest approach to selling magic; something which is becoming increasingly sparse in an age of bedroom warriors out to make a quick buck.
